Last year in eighth grade we had to do a project where we made a blueprint of an imaginary house. Around my house I decided to put a mote with a sea monster in it. After much deliberation, my friend and I decided to name him Jalapeno. It took us a long time to come up with the name because there were so many names to choose from. After that Jalapeno became a legend.
Gustav was a giraffe that lived on the white board in Ms. E’s room. He was drawn on the board one day and he just stayed there until someone erased him. We had become so used to Gustav being on the board that once he was erased we just had to draw him again. He was on the board for most of the year. Now whenever we go to AGGE we make sure that he’s there for this year’s guitar students to enjoy.
Haha, I love you amazing imagination Heather!
I loved the story! That’s so funny about the drawing on the board. I’m glad you leave it on for the next class to enjoy.
I remember Gustav and Jalapeno. Ahh… memories. Love the story!
That was a great funny story. The title was definitely the best part.
It was an amazing story, Heather! Also, amazing use of creative naming! I remember the sea monster dude! My favorite part was the title!
Awesome story, the title made me jump right in.

Haha I remember Gustav from guitar last year.
Excellent use of vocab, Heather! And the title really draws the readers attention and makes us curious.
